Okay, so heres my theory off of something I just noticed.
I have 3 sessions that were misses. They all have a very cimilar common theme. The cueing is questionable on 2 of them, possibly the third as well. Without giving anything away here, I pose this question-
Where do you go when you RV nothing, or a bad cue.
By bad cue, in this case, something ambiguous. For instance, "what was on TV last night" (could be anything) etc.
Just curious

I'm not real sure what you are asking here....the use of the word cueing in regards to RV is new to me. If this is the same as the signal line, I think I can give this a shot.
When I RV and get nothing, I simply stay blank. If I stay blank long enough, then I will start to return to thinking. If I remain thinking for too long, then I take a long break and try again. When I realize I am in the blank state, I will try to jog myself by repeating something like 'I am with the target right now- how does this make me feel' or 'I am connecting with the target- tell me all that I need to know' and I keep repeating like a mantra until I start to see the wisps like thin bits of clouds. When this happens, I am back in the ball game again.
When I get a signal (cue?) it can be rapid like a slide show. How can I tell if it's the wrong data?? Not always, but mostly, when the data seems out of context. For instance- say I am getting all things related to the being land ~~ I get the sense of mountains, or dirt, or a farmers field and then I get a soda bottle. Ta dah! Out goes the soda bottle. HOWEVER (this is like a but lol) if the soda bottle keeps cropping up, then I know it's important to the target.
If what I've said here has nothing to do with what you asked (and it just may not ! :-/ ) then please explain how what I've said in incorrect....or better yet, what cueing is ;-)

my spelling just sucks...
queueing is what I meant. (sp)
Its the CRV (as in coordinate) RV concept, where an alphanumeric string is associated with a target. Sometimes, that process doesnt go down so good... for instance, were I to queue up "what caused event x" where event x can not and never will take place, what happens. That sort of thing.
I may be inventing excuses for crappy sessions here too, I am realizing... heh heh.

I think you were right with the spelling the first time MR as to queue means to get into line whereas cue is a word or thing that is representative of something else.
I have on occasion done a session with a bad cue so to speak. Either something ubiquitous or nonsensical. When I do a session on something that could have an infinite amount of information such as "What was on TV last night" my SC or UC which ever you prefer, picks something out that either has the most resonance with the Collective Conscious or something that is of most interest to me or should be anyway. There have also been times when I had to step away from my session take a look at it from a different angle after feed back and just shrug "What the damn is this supposed to be" heh heh. I've had this experience when I remote view something that does not exist, such as a certain being a religion touts to be real :-X :P
I think this type of thing is best solved by educating the person or person's on proper cueing. That way you don't end up spending thirty minutes RVing Ed Bradley and Barbara Walters, ugh how mundane lol! I'd rather do a session on bowling heh heh.
Bon soir

hmmmm.... it never occured to me that the number(s) assigned to a target could influence the sessions outcome (as to productive or not)
I wouldn't have thought this to be the case. The number is only just that...a number used as a label. The label not being the target itself, would be understood by the intent at the beginning of the session as well as the SC honing in on the real mission, the target.
An experience I had with a totally wrong session was this: using the target #, did the RV work etc. This was one of my more difficult sessions because I felt the pull- I didn't understand at the time what the pull was, but did later on after I found out what the target was.
In addition to the pull, I didn't have the usual kind of data flow that I am used to . To make a long story short, I wound up doing a session on Laci Peterson. The target turned out to be a fuschia colored desk stapler!! :o :o !!
Yikes! How could I have been so off I wondered. Either Laci was the stronger of the 2 energies (collectively) and because the stapler was a boring target to me, my SC went for what was interesting?? I don't know. But I have noticed that what the target is can determine what type of results you get.
The thing is, that in order to be able to rely on this process, as viewers, one of the challenges is, in my case, that no matter if the target is boring or not, or seemingly insignificant, the deal is to do the target....not do 'pick and choose' viewing LOL.
Have any of you noticed less than stellar sessions when the target has turned out to be one you could care less about?? This kind of gets back into the emotionality as was being discussed on another thread.
It's interesting to watch these topics. A person will post about a specific aspect and eventually, it winds up encompassing all aspects. Just goes to show that RVing isn't just one thing....but that it spins and weaves itself throughout all aspects of our realities.
ps-- how I knew I did the session on Laci was because on the news the next day was info that I had gotten had not yet been reported on any news prior to my session. (just an interesting by the way ;-))

Sorry, I should clarify Pjammies. By cue I mean those words that you write down that represent the actual target. The digits are in turn another cue. Hmmm I never thought about it that way, but I guess every session is double cued, interesting.

Hmm.. getting sidetracked here, by my own lack of explanation I think.
I am not debating the method of cueing. I am asking what happens when you run a session that is ambiguously cued, like "what was on tv last night" or "the ause of the death of santa clause" etc. I have noticed that when I am NOT on target, I seem to end up coming up with very similar themes in my work.
The number letter combos for cueing are random in this case, and by themselves mean nothing, so thats not what I am worried about PDPJ. THere is not enough info in an 8 character ID to influence anyone, unless you spelled something.

G'day MR
So far I haven't been targeted with that sort of thing but I've been thinking about what might happen if I ever do.
I guess it would be similar to the same thing happening in the physical.
Say someone said to you, "Go to Blue Heaven Cafe on Brown St and describe it."
You get there and the Cafe doesn't exist. What would you do?
Do you go to another cafe in the hope that they just named it incorectly?
Do you decide to spend the time going to a cool bookstore instead since the cafe isn't there.
Do you go to a skating rink in the next block called Blue Heaven Skating?
I think we would be driven by personal phychology to decide what to do. But it's just my theory. ;)
You said that you are finding a trend on where you go in these cases. Wanna share?
Cheers Liz

Heh heh, sure
BTW after thinking about all this, I have decided that it is mainly my ego kicking in after a few really great hits, combined with expectations and alot of added stress that has made my RV kinda crappy. Mainly as I have been having a hard time focusing due to the reasons above... working on, working through it. Anyhow...
The theme is the wild west Liz. Yee ha! Train cars n cowboys. No idea where that came from! Heh heh. 3 targets, spread out over many months time do not a trend make.
Need to get back to the drawing board, let the protocol/method drive my data, not my ego...

Well howdy partner,
glad your sort'n through it. ;-)
You're doing well to get any targets done with a 2 year old in the house!
They know exactly when you've started a session ........RV or sex. LOL

Hey Liz-
Thanks for the kind words. I worked really hard last night to just get the basic data and not try to interpret anything. Still having one hell of a time with my site sketches, since that does involve some "going out on a limb" but getting there.
I havent even hit the 100 mark as far as total session though, you can ignore my whining, I have a long way to go...
