Hi Allen,

I downloaded them too, but I got the same problem (wouldn't install because some files on my system out of date). I'm running Windows Me. Any idea how I can get them running, particularly the target database, because I've been searching for one of those for ages.

Thanks,
L

Hi Luce,

when do you get the error message ?

when you install or when you run the program?

Glyn, somewhere around July 27, 2003

Hello Allen,

It's after I've unzipped your files and I click on Setup.exe (The same thing happens for all your files not just the RV database one).

It starts copying files then a box pops up saying some files are out of date and its going to install them but then I  need to restart. I close down and restart  and the system says it's configuring new files...but when I get back in and run setup again exactly the same thing happens.

I downloaded the VB files you mentioned and no change.

Hi Glyn,

can you check if the program was installed.

see if under folder "program files" you have a folder caled "RVT10" if yes open it and
click on RV.exe

Given you're responding to an individual, why don't you use email or personal messages for this.  I realize this topic repeatedly bouncing to the top of the threads is regular advertising, but given it hasn't even worked for anybody who's posted here, that doesn't seem fair, lol.

Hi PJ and all,

My apologies to all for that :-[ , as the software was free I didn't think of the advertising implications. All sorted now.
