Over time, most viewers come to have a few sessions that stand out for them as their favorites.  Sometimes it is their first solid 'hit' that rocked their belief systems. Sometimes it is a session that was very spiritual. Sometimes it's the sessions that seem to mark a new, higher level of skill for them.  There are many reasons. What are your favorite sessions -- and why?

wizopeva, somewhere around August 30, 2003

One of my favorites was a target that was an astronaut doing a space walk.  In that particular session, I really focused in on the floating feeling of space.  I interpreted it as similar to a weird drug trip in which everything was spinning around slowing and peacefully like a slow motion vortex.  I had no idea what that was about until after the feedback.

I guess I like sessions that have intense or new feelings to them.  SOmetimes that can come simply from doing a normal type target but experiencing it in a new way.  And of course I always like sessions in which it turns out I did really really well!   ;-)  One thing I like to see is data that is really specific and exactly on target instead of vague general stuff that could apply to lots of targets.

I'll always remember my first session, a target the lovably infamous Gene posted to Stargate.  It turned out to be New Grange, in Ireland.  I picked up the rounded top, the chamber inside, a few other details.  And I encountered what felt like a welcoming, feminine presence there.  The feedback blew me away.

Is that the cave with he big ancient stone with circles in circles on it in front?  I have that in my targt pool (of ~1000) but haven't gotten to it yet.

I know someone who targets viewers on things like, the identities/spirits of trees.  Not sure the proper tasking on that as it isn't certain they exist, but I'm told the sessions surely indicate a (usually but not always) feminine presence.  Hard to tell if that's a thoughtform or something more measurable though.

I don't think it's a cave; I think it was human-made.  There are stones with circle patterns on them near it.  Here's a link:

I've had some of my best sessions on the place; I'll have to go there sometime.

Yeah, true.  This presence felt real, but you never know.  I was experiencing some goddess-type synchronicities in my life at the time, so it's hard to say what was going on.

Ah!  I remembered wrong, and also had only seen that one tiny pic, here:  Newgrange Kerbstone 1 - The Entrance Stone

Do you see that area of white stone between the two areas of gray stone, above and behind the kerbstone?  In one session, I picked up what I AOL'ed as a dam, the white stone between the gray.  But I set that aside and was able to pick up that there were some black stones set into the white.  When I got feedback, it blew me away completely.  I'd seen it all so clearly.

One of my favorite sessions was one given to me by my wife.  It turned out to be a location i could visit, the laundry room at the retirement community where her mother lived.  It was also the fisrt time I had used movement commands of the form :  "From the center of the target, face North and describe....face East and describe......etc".  Two of the directions gave very good data, one depended on interpretation and one was pretty sparse and not relevant.

What was interesting is that I was AOLing a restaurant/kitchen because of the data referring to odors and water and heat and cold.  A sketch from one of the directional movements matched very closely an old chrome clothes rack.

The last movement was something like "from 100 ft above the target......", well that would be the roof of the building that I could not feedback on but the data could match a typical roof with vents.  :)

It occurs to me that it has now been 3.5 years since this thread was up -- the title of it caught my attention when I was archiving -- and given all the viewing that has been done between then and now, both in and out of TKR of course, I'm wondering if there are any new answers to this. With the folks who are around now.

What is your favorite session ever, and why?

katzenhai2, somewhere around March 13, 2007

There are three favorite sessions:
1. Salt Flats with mountains in the background. Its a photo from the Galleries. I drew an exactly panorma of that inclusive the movement of snow on the moutains and some hammering sound on water.

2. I made a review of an investment business and there was something interesting in the session: I got a roundish, like a top-down pyramid shaped thing, rough and glassy. Concept was 'obsolescence (loss)'. Some days later the business announced a special diamond deal they would make. At that moment it made 'click' in my mind and I knew what I drew in the session were a diamond, it looked exactly like one. After several weeks there was an headline in newspaper that this business was threated of tax exemption because they declared the wrong amount on the envelope for the diamonds. They are now in charge of a court order and the diamond deal was treated as a loss for the company and their investors.
That was my first "operational target", so to speak. But made only two sessions (with Dames 'LearnRV DVDs' :P).

3. I'm on the search for a hidden key in my own house. Its a test for RV itself and if it can find something like that (or better said: If I am able with my skill or talent to find the key). So far I drew something that seems to be a tube where water is flowing through. Its a key element. We have only three such tubes in our house (2x bath + kitchen). Made only 2 sessions now about it, need more to do, but the latest AOL-drives in my sessions (in every session, even training targets) made me crazy and I gave up.

Then there was the session about 'Konrad Adenauer' (a former german chancellor), a semi-blind target (was told it was a person). Interesting aspects about his personalities were described and had AOLs of a politician, but the data indicated more someone like a funny actor. The truth is he acted often like a funny actor in his speeches and were a remarkable politician because of this regard. Anaylsis was done by the tasker who does not believe in RV or PSI related things.

I could upload pics of the salt flats and the diamond session if someone is interested.

I think people should be able to provide links where
we can all see these fav sessions for educational
purposes  ;)

My favourite session was my first one here at TKR.
http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/rv/galleries/peanutview.cfm?dsid=1015
Not spectacular, but it was my "eureka!" moment.

But how about your favorite misses?  -)o you ever get data that is just plain hilarious?  Goofy?  Totally embarrassing?
One of my favorite one is putting down "lederhosen" for a picture of an image of Mao Tse hanging on the outside of a building.

I think Toad once made some awkward comment for a target about a harem or something. C'mon, Toad. Out with it!

I love the ones that just make you go woooaahhhh...

My most favourite ever remains a session I did on a local museum where I mentally `met` the C19th governess and children that used to live there, but I`ve banged on about that enough here in the past...

Regarding TKR seshs this was a cool one:

http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/rv/galleries/peanutview.cfm?dsid=17484

That last reference to the guy `using me like a pair of binoculars` assumes special significance when you realise that this is a retasking of Pat Price's infamous Semiplatinsk viewing.

Literally that`s what it felt like at one point during the session..that someone just picked me up and looked through me at the target. (Cue Twilight zone intro.)

;-) Great question.  Wow, it's like asking me what my favorite ice cream is, or my favorite sport, or movie...or book, or hm... toughie.  I would have to say it's the sportscar I drew when I first began.  I had no idea what to expect and I just drew what came in my head.  In those days I had no aol pics to deal with in my head from the pool.  I wish I could go back to those days without my head playing politics...

In my extremely short experience I especially like those sessions in which I felt an intriguing DETAIL, maybe not important, but exactly nailed. For example:

The letter H (and colours, materials...) on a Hanjin Cargo:
http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/rv/studios/viewsession-practice.cfm?dsid=71196

A telephone pole, very small but very clear, in the middle of this farmer at sunset:
http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/rv/studios/viewsession-practice.cfm?dsid=73092

Sexual attraction (and colours, feelings) implicit in this pic of almost naked girls dancing:
http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/rv/studios/viewsession-practice.cfm?dsid=70317

The sense of "waiting for something to happen" in this total eclipse:
http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/rv/studios/viewsession-practice.cfm?dsid=68110

I don't have enough experience to interpret and control my feelings and perception that much, but these details stunned me  :) Dunno which one is my fave ;) ... maybe something by Revsdrag2  ;-)

Panamon, those links are to a Viewer Studios page to view your own sessions. Nobody else could use those links. It would just tell them that the session does not belong to them.

There is a private passworded link for every session at the bottom of the getfeedback pages in the Studios. And any session that is public inside TKR, you can always link to at the Peanut Gallery home with:

http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/rv/galleries/peanutview.cfm?dsid=####

where #### is whatever the session number is.

Maybe you could redo your links with that on the front of them so they'll work for others. I'm on break at work but I'm outta time so I gotta go. :-)

If I had to pick a favorite, it would be this one. Feelings of hope and peace after getting the feedback and realizing the implications.
